Certificate IV in Accounting
The Certificate IV in Accounting course is designed for bookkeepers and accountants who want to become BAS Agents, providing practical real world accounting and BAS knowledge and exercises. It meets the Australian Taxation Office's (ATO) requirements as set out under the new legislation for BAS Agents, which comes into effect 1 March 2012.

To gain entry into a course at Zenith Business Academy Pty Ltd you will need to demonstrate that you have met the required English Language Proficiency. The English language conversion table below is a general guide to the level of proficiency required for entry into the various award levels. English examination results are valid if no more than 2 years has elapsed between the final examination result date and the date of commencement of the study.

Alternative English Entry Requirements:
Students may be accepted if they have successfully completed an HSC or Vocational qualification at a Certificate III or IV level or above in Australia, or can otherwise demonstrate the required minimum English proficiency. Those who do not meet the English requirements can be referred to English Language Centre to complete Intensive Courses in English prior to commencing their award courses at Zenith Business Academy Pty Ltd. The length of these English courses varies, typically from 4 to 20 weeks. After completion of the ELICOS course, the students may be requested to sit for a Zenith Business Academy Pty Ltd placement test.
If an applicant has completed the FNS40615 Certificate IV in Accounting at ZBA or completed the pre-requisite units, then they will be eligible for course credits for the FNS50215 Diploma of Accounting, which will reduce its duration (see here for details).
If an applicant has completed both the FNS40615 Certificate IV in Accounting and FNS50215 Diploma of Accounting at ZBA or completed the pre-requisite units, then they will be eligible for course credits for the FNS60215 Advanced Diploma of Accounting, which will reduce its duration (click here for more details).
